On July 28th, 2022, the Mekong Environment Forum (MEF) in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) of An Giang province co-hosted a community workshop in Hoa Binh Commune People’s Committee.
The workshop was attended by the Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang Province, An Giang Agricultural Extension Center, Cho Moi District Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Cho Moi District Farmers’ Association, Cho Moi District Agricultural Extension Station, University An Giang, Hoa Binh Commune People’s Committee, representatives of Climate Sense company and the presence of more than 30 farmers in Hoa Binh commune.
The purpose of the workshop is to discuss and share suggestions for choosing solutions in the “Circular Village Adaptation to Climate Change” model which has received positive responses and contributions from participating farmer delegates.
The results of the Workshop have provided practical bases for farmer delegates unions and agencies to be able to build and complete the pilot work for the model “Circular Village Adaptation to Climate Change”.
