On May 13, 2018, the “Flying Cranes Project” organized a community workshop at Vam Xang Hamlet, Phong Dien commune (Ca Mau), supported by the Stimson Center (Southeast Asia Program).
The workshop gathered the active participation of local officials and key farmers representing some neighboring hamlets. At the conference, delegates expressed concerns about environmental pollution issues (water, air) and its impact on life and production.
This workshop is part of activities to promote public awareness of water security and the role of sustainable livelihoods at the local level.
